AADSTS50055: The password is expired
The user’s password expired under the tenant/on-prem password policy and must be changed before signing in.

Meaning
Interactive sign-ins prompt for a change; non-interactive tools and service accounts just fail. Service accounts should use non-expiring credentials or managed identities.

- Password older than the expiry policy
- Synced on-prem password expired
- Service account using user credentials
