SQS: The specified queue does not exist (AWS.SimpleQueueService.NonExistentQueue / QueueDoesNotExist)
The queue URL/name doesn’t exist in that region/account, or it was deleted (recently deleted names are blocked for 60 seconds).

AWS
Meaning
Queue URLs include the account and region. Using a URL from another environment, wrong region, or a FIFO queue name without .fifo all fail. After deleting a queue, you must wait 60 seconds to recreate the same name.
Common causes
- Wrong region or account
- Queue deleted or never created
- FIFO queue name missing .fifo
- Recreating within 60 seconds of deletion
⚡ Quick fix
- aws sqs get-queue-url --queue-name name --region r
- Use the full URL from config per environment
- Wait 60 seconds after deletion
Detailed fix by platform
AWS CLI
aws sqs get-queue-url --queue-name orders.fifo --region eu-west-1
How to diagnose
- URL — Account/region in the URL
- Name — .fifo suffix?
