Windows Update error 0x800F0922 (update or .NET install failed)
An update failed to install — usually because the System Reserved/EFI partition is too small, a VPN blocked the update service, or .NET Framework couldn’t be enabled.

0x800F0922 appears on cumulative updates, feature updates and when enabling .NET 3.5. Common culprits are a full EFI/System Reserved partition, an active VPN, or Secure Boot/ELAM changes.

- .NET 3.5 install without access to Windows Update/source
